Tambo Mill Motel and Caravan Park is centrally located in the Tambo town centre.  We offer comfortable spacious air conditioned motel rooms and for the travellers with their own accommodation, 16 long drive through caravan sites with grass and 5 pool sites with concrete slab. 

The Tambo Mill Motel and Caravan Park is conveniently situated halfway between Brisbane and Mount Isa, and is the perfect place to stop and put your feet up for the night.  In the well appointed and clean rooms overlooking the sparkling swimming pool and beautifully maintained gardens, you will find comfortable beds, reverse cycle air conditioner, microwave, coffee/tea making facilities and your own bathroom. 

There are 3 types of rooms for you to choose the best that suits your needs from a standard room with queen bed and single, family room with queen bed and 2 singles and the Business Studios with queen bed, single bed and small kitchenette area.  The Disabled Business Studio has a queen bed and is fully accessible in a wheelchair via a ramp.

Travellers with their own caravan, motorhome or camper trailer have a choice of long drive through sites or our pool sites with a concrete slab.  All sites have power and water and easy access to the amenties block.  There are laundry facilities and a dump point, all for your convenience.

Situated in the heart of Tambo next door to the Food Works supermarket and within walking distance to everything, it’s easy to just  park your car and discover all Tambo has to offer.  With a café and Tavern right across the street and the Carrangarra Hotel and Fanny Maes Café 500 metres away there is plenty of choice of eateries.  Tambo Teddies and Bens famous chook races are a must do whilst you are here.
